For non-Bahraini users, a valid Residency Permit is required to renew their Driving License(s).Late fees of 500 fils will be charged for each day after the expiry date until 40 days after which a fixed fee of BD 20 is charged.In case the driving license expiry date exceeded 3 years, you must visit General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) to undergo a Medical Examination.If you are 60 years of age or more you must visit General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) to undergo a Medical Examination and follow the available guidelines for Driving License Renewal.For Court Contravention(s), you will be able to complete the renewal process online once you settle them with the General Directorate of Traffic (GDT). All contraventions must be paid prior to Driving License Renewal.This service is provided for drivers under the age of 60 and have a valid Bahraini license.Driving License(s) Renewal is allowed during 3 months prior to the expiry date.
